The idea

To reflect to modernity of student life with technology, the logo created would include sleek designs and rounded edges. The name Sandz is an abstraction of Sand Dunes - dry and crisp, much like the feeling of your clothing after using the products.

The Product

With each package comes two wool dryer balls and two bottles of essentail oils used to add subtles scents to your laundry. Not only are the products reusable and 100% biodigradable, but the heat retained within each dryer ball when used in the dryer will quicken the dry time of your clothes, saving energy AND the planet.

Marketing Campaign

In response to the creation of Sandz and their sustainable package series, a marketing campaign including mailers, a magazine page, and instagram posts was created to advertise the dryer ball products along with the varieties of scents available for purchase.

Magazine Page

College students are tired. Textbook readings are often and overwhelming and the last thing they would want to do is spend even more time reading a random advertisement trying to sell them on a product. That's why Sandz created a one page, purely illustrational advertisement. For when they finally get the nerve to book their own doctors appointments and find themselves sitting in the waiting room flipping through magazines, these vibrant colours will surely catch their eye.

Mailers

For deliveries to college apartments and student housing, mailers are the perfect tangible piece to the puzzle. With wool-textured inserts scented with the Sandz essential oils, these mailers are more than a something read and thrown away. They allow the target audience to interact with the product itself so they can experience the Sandz lifestyle.

Instagram
posts

For the average students nightly routine of scrolling for hours on the phone, instagram posts were created as a rollout for the Sandz company and their internet presence. The three posts focus on the three most memorable aspects of the sandz company: the scents, the texture, and the vibrancy of the packaging.
